Nine UBC Mechanical Engineering students win prestigious national scholarships.
UBC Mechanical Engineering students won nine scholarships in the recent 2010/2011 National Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada scholarship competition with a total value of nearly $360,000. Four of our current graduate students won NSERC Doctoral scholarships. Five students: three current MECH fourth year undergraduates and two current MECH grad students, won prestigious Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships to support their masters studies.
