Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) program is designed to attract and retain world-class doctoral students by supporting students who demonstrate both leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health-related fields. Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, and international students are eligible to be nominated for a Vanier Scholarship, which is valued at $50,000 per year for up to three years.
UBC Vanier application deadline: 12 noon (PT – Vancouver time) on Thursday, 1 September 2022
The application is completed online on ResearchNet: https://www.researchnet-recherchenet.ca/rnr16/LoginServlet. The ResearchNet application portal for the Vanier has opened on June 30, 2022.
Note: Vanier CGS requires official transcripts – unofficial transcripts are not accepted for non-UBC transcripts. For details on transcript requirements, applicants are recommended to review the below Vanier webpage (section ‘ Application Procedures’).
