Outreach

In addition to tours, the Department of Mechanical Engineering conducts outreach to promote STEM and Mechanical Engineering as a career choice. We are able to host workshops for all age groups. In the past our outreach groups have built and tested wind turbines, boats, cars, and other devices. We have worked with Shad Valley, CEDAR, and other groups.

If you would like to discuss hosting an outreach event for your group, please contact Amelia Pitt-Brooke at communications@mech.ubc.ca.
