Graduate Award in Population Health and Engineering
We invite you to apply for the Graduate Award in Population Health and Engineering (award #6754). This award commemorates Dr. Murray Hodgson and honors Dr. Kay Teschke, faculty members who initiated the OEH program at UBC.
The award is offered by friends and family to honor and remember UBC faculty members from the fields of occupational & environmental health and mechanical engineering. These faculty members dedicated their careers to training and mentoring students in using interdisciplinary knowledge to improve work and community environments. This award is for graduate students enrolled in the School of Population and Public Health or the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who undertake multidisciplinary research or training activities that bridge health and engineering disciplines to enhance work or community environments. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Faculty of Applied Science and consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Recommendation Letter:
A letter of recommendation from a reference who can vouch for your suitability (e.g., a faculty member or supervisor). This letter must be sent by your referee directly to admissions@mech.ubc.ca.
