To submit your photos, please email students@mech.ubc.ca by September 25th!

Overview

We’ve recently updated the Mech website and would like gather new photos to add to it as well as to use in promotional or recruitment material.Therefore, we are running a photo contest with three categories.The idea is that if we receive enough photos, we’ll be able to feature one photo per page of the website, like the cover photo above. In addition, should your photo be considered as the top in a category, you will each receive a $50 Starbucks gift card!

The three categories are:

• Best Technical Mech photo
• Best Coop/Work experience photo
• Best photo of what you love about Mech (this can be anything as long as it’s about MECH and is appropriate for the website)

Sizing, Orientation & more

We encourage you to send us as many pictures as you wish.

If possible send us pictures in :

• Landscape orientation
• HD quality

Please note that by sending us your photos, you are agreeing to allow us to use them on the Mech website and/or for promotional or recruitment material. Should we choose to use your photo(s) for promotional purposes we will require a photo consent form to be completed by those featured in the photo (if applicable).
