Undergraduate

Mechanical Engineering is a diverse field that applies physics and mathematics to analyze, design, and maintain moving systems. If that sounds broad, it is! Mechanical engineers work in almost every industry, and our fully accredited undergraduate program gives students the foundation and flexibility to pursue their goals in industry, entrepreneurship, graduate studies and more!

After completing general first-year studies, our students go through an award-winning, fully integrated second year curriculum, Mech 2, designed to help develop the skills needed to succeed throughout their degree and future careers. They can then decide to focus on an area of interest or keep their studies flexible though a range of specialization options. Before graduating, our students complete a 45X Capstone Design Project, working in teams to solve problems for real industry clients.
