The Engineering Student Centre (ESC) is truly a building for UBC Engineers to study, relax, socialize, and find the academic and social support they need to have a great experience at UBC. This new building was opened in 2015 and sits on the site of the old Cheeze. It allows undergraduates to connect with their counterparts from all disciplines ranging from civil, mechanical, electrical and computer engineering, to mining and materials engineering. Inside the ESC, students can find:

• Red sales, the place to buy Engineering Swag and supplies
• The ESC Eatery, the place to buy cheap coffee and snacks
• Study spaces
• Vending machines
• Games room
• Many couches to nap on.
