Research Interests

  • Mechanical systems automation through re-design and computer control.
  • Analysis, modeling, simulation and control of production, service and electromechanical systems, using classical and modern techniques such as wavelet transforms, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic and neural networks.
  • Manufacturing processes.

Current Research Work

  • Fault detection and reconfiguration in a cluster of interacting satellites.
  • Condition-Based-Maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Thermo-Mechanical investigation of die-less wiredrawing process.
  • Fault localization in sensor/actuator systems.
