Message from the President: Support for those impacted by the tragedy at Vancouver’s Lapu-Lapu Day Festival

Mental health and wellbeing supports.

Our thoughts are with the victims of the tragedy at the Lapu-Lapu Day festival in Vancouver that took at least 11 lives and injured many more, as well as with Vancouver’s Filipino community and all those affected. We encourage all who need them to access supports available at UBC and off-campus.

Read the statement by UBC President and Vice-Chancellor Benoit-Antoine Bacon, which includes links to UBC resources available for students, faculty, and staff on both campuses, and find some supports available for Vancouver campus below.
