Mechanical Engineering PhD Candidate wins Best Poster Award
Atefeh Einafshar, a Mechanical Engineering PhD candidate, won the Best Poster Award at UBC Chemical & Biological Engineering’s Research Day 2014 for her work on Multi-Satellite Failure Evasion through Colored Petri Net Reconfiguration Modeling. She was presented her award by Prof. Michael Hoffmann (Caltech), and Dr. Roger Gaudreault (Corporate Director Scientific Development of Cascades). Congratulations Atefeh!
UBC Supermileage Takes Huge Hit From Transport Accident
UBC Supermileage’s equipment and cars have been destroyed in a rollover accident while in transportation from the Shell Eco-Marathon Americas, where the team placed third.
