PhD student Emily Park wins CHEMINAS Poster Award at MicroTAS 2015

Mechanical Engineering PhD student Emily Park took home the CHEMINAS Young Researcher Poster Award at the International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (MicroTAS)—the premier international conference in the field of microfluidics. This is a prestigious award sponsored by The Society for Chemistry and Micro-Nano Systems (CHEMINAS) to recognize excellence among participants. It is only given to the top 4 student posters among the 621 posters accepted into the conference, and it comes with a $500 USD cash prize.

Congratulations to Emily Park, her supervisor Dr. Hongshen Ma, and the team of researchers who contributed to the winning poster, “Towards Genetic Profiling of Circulating Tumor Cells in Clinical Trials.”
