Rate Guide
There is a minimum $300 rate for each wind tunnel. Additional rate information is listed below.
Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel
- $300/hour to a maximum of $1800/day or $7000/week
- Idle time: $150/hour
Parkinson Wind Tunnel
- $200/hour to a maximum of $1000/day or $4000/week
- Idle time: $100/hour
Operator Fee (extra)
- At least one operator must be present during all phases of testing and will run the tunnel and data acquisition
- The hourly rate for the operator(s) depends on operator experience and the tests being conducted
