Industry Advisory Committee

The Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Committee (MEAC) advises the Department Head on matters relating to the Department’s strategic initiatives and future direction. Comprised of distinguished senior leaders from industry, academia, and professional organisations, the Committee meets bi-annually to provide expert industry advice, helping the Department remain responsive to technological advances as well as economic, societal, and cultural shifts. The Industry Advisory Committee shepherds strategic initiatives and advises on curriculum, ensuring the Department maintains its strong, industry-relevant, position. It secures connections to the engineering profession, industry, and government. The Department greatly values the contributions of these outstanding individuals.
