Orchard Commons
Located on the south side of campus, Orchard Commons (ORCH) is a mixed-use building that contains UBC’s newest residence and classroom spaces.
Opened in 2016, the building features stunning architecture and design, a LEED Gold certificate, and a range of classrooms equipped with the newest technologies. Orchard Commons also has a wide variety of informal study spaces to use outside of class, including a dedicated study lounge, high tech study nooks, and the dining hall. Below is a typical seminar and tutorial room found in this building.
MECH students may have tutorials in some of the many small classrooms in Orchard Commons.
